Your Questions Answered: Our New Flexible Model

We're so excited to be evolving with our community! We know that changes can bring up a lot of questions, so we’ve gathered the most common ones here. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible.

For Our Current (Legacy) Members

I'm a current member. What do I have to do? Absolutely nothing! If you love your current membership, you don't have to do a thing. Your plan, your pricing, and your benefits are all secure. We are adding more flexible options for the community, not taking your plan away.

Is my price going up? No. As long as you remain an active member on your current (legacy) plan, your rate is secure.

What happens if my card fails or I cancel my membership? Can I get my old plan back? This is a great question. Our legacy plans will no longer be available for new or returning sign-ups. If your membership is canceled or lapses for any reason, you won't be able to re-enroll in the same plan. However, you can choose from any of our new, flexible options, including Pay-As-You-Go or our new Price Protection Memberships.

What happened to the Very Important Paws (VIP) community? We are retiring the Very Important Paws online community. We found it wasn't being widely used, and we want to focus our team's energy on providing more tangible value to our clients, such as our proactive booking service and ensuring our quality of care is always top-notch.

For New Clients & Our Community

Why are you making this change? This change is about aligning our business with our core values: Flexibility, Accessibility, and Empathy. We’ve seen the financial pressures our community is facing, and we wanted to adapt. We believe high-quality pet care shouldn't be a source of stress, so we've removed the membership requirement to lower the barrier to entry and ensure everyone can access our services in a way that works for their life.

So I can just book a class or daycare now without a membership? Yes! This is the most exciting part of our new model. All of our services—daycare, in-home visits, classes, and boarding —are now available on a "Pay-As-You-Go" basis. You can simply book and pay for the services you need, when you need them. You can get started by calling our front desk or booking through your Gingr account.

When do the new membership plans start? They are available starting November 1st. Too excited to wait? Just ask, and we can activate the membership you are interested in early.

What are the benefits of the new optional memberships? The primary benefit is Price Protection. Our new memberships are designed to be your "golden ticket" against rising costs. As a member, you will be permanently shielded from all future price increases—such as the transportation rate change scheduled for Q1.

Members also receive the best value, with discounted credits and exclusive perks like our "Set It & Forget It" proactive booking service, where we personally reach out to plan your holiday and vacation care for the entire year.

About the Transition

What happens to my remaining credits? Your credits are 100% safe and will be honored, just as they've always been. This change does not affect any credits you have already purchased, and you can continue to use them until they run out.

I wanted to buy one of the old memberships. Can I still do that? Our legacy memberships will be available for new sign-ups until November 15, 2025. After that date, all new members will choose from our new, more flexible options. We highly encourage you to explore the new plans, as we designed them to better meet the needs of our community!
